Journey of Faith (2)   –  020911

Jesus is Lord! He is the only one worthy of our admiration and praises! Thank you for the ever-flowing words of care and comfort. Thanks to your fervent prayers, God of mercy listens and takes charge in sending a good doctor, the therapy procedure has run smoothly. The first shot of chemotherapy is done, the name of the Lord exalted!
Many fellow brothers describe my ministry as ‘alternative and unconventional’ and so is this sickness which is quite rare of its kind.

Healing of this lymphatic complication would not be easy! Let’s all come before the Lord for His mighty work of wonders! Let’s  all come before Him and count on His mercy! Good news to share is the bone marrow is not infected! Let’s all look up to God as the only Savior!

I was not able to sleep the night I was told the confirmed diagnosis. Satan made me waver in my faith… “Is God whom you trust the true one? Is this God that you preached to many by hundreds each year real?  Where are your fellow brothers, your comrades and church?…”

It’s hard to bear in telling my beloved fellow saints of my illness! It’s even harder to add sorrows to the church that I love! Other than my dear wife, I dare not, nor do I know how to break the news to you and my family.  I struggled on my own how to fight the attack of Satan, amidst fear, I prayed and heard the reminder of the Holy Spirit. According to the exclusive report of Luke:

My gracious Savior, one who possesses the greatest might in all heaven and earth, at His most agonizing moments in the garden of Gethsemane, an angel from heaven appeared to Him and strengthened Him. (Luke 22:43). Oh Lord! Comfort my heart! Send an angel to add strength to me! (Praise the Lord! Here he comes!)

In the 6 months that follow, taking rest is my way of serving!

In our many prayers with Wai Kwan, my wife, we have the same feeling – me and my home are with fellow saints in alliance, for life or for death and there is still work to be done. I urge my fellow saints to exercise the power of the church to bind the
enemies!

– With love in Christ,
