20 Years of Ark Channel – a time to rest, a time to change!

Dear Ark Channel readers,

Recently, several of the Ark Channel servants are feeling unwell and needing rest. As a result of discussion and discernment, we see it is time to suspend and to make changes after the 20 years of serving. Starting April, we will cease sending the email and take rest in the Lord.

It was in 2003 when a brother, responding to the touch by the Lord, started the Ark Channel. Later on, we had editors, translators joining and gradually grow into a team of 10 saints serving. This year, 2023, we are into the 21st year, quietly serving, the Lord graciously blessing.

20 years go by, things are changing but our Lord is forever the same!

The total of 7390 passages, accumulated one by one each day, are now kept on the Ark Channel websites, available for download.

We will occasionally update the wealth of testimonies, gospel materials, Bible study sharing, spiritual resources and links to audio sermon archives from around the world on the website.

We continue to organize the collection of the precious material and publish them in e-book or place them on the website.

Lord willing, Ark Channel may broadcast every month or at irregular intervals, all time remain connected with you in the Lord, mutually encouraging one another.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, He is the Alpha, and the Omega (Revelation 1:8). Ebenezer! The Lord is near!

Journey of Faith (11) – Oh Lord, What am I waiting for now?

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Shalom.

Time flies! Half a year flies by, the 8 treatments are complete. Praise the Lord!  I may get tired half the time during the day and my hair is growing back.  I sincerely thank all the comrades who have interceded.  It is difficult to individually thank all but my familyand I will treasure all support in our hearts!  My previous letter shared about the three learning from this trial. Last time was on ‘why’, this time on ‘what to wait’ and next time on ‘what to learn’.

In the past 7 months, what really hurts me is not my illness but the fact that a few saints and God’s servants have similar sufferings from sickness.  One late night, worrying for them, I pleaded to the Lord and He gave me 2 ‘knows’: One is Job saying “I know that my Redeemer lives…” (Job 19:25); Second is Paul saying “…because I know whom I have believed…” (2 Timothy 1:12).

The former seems like a dead end but in fact overcoming all after suffering; the latter did not fail the Lord in what He commissions us with and the ending is good.

Looking back on the experience I had in speaking at the many gospel meetings, especially in memorial services, where through God’s mercy, I had the courage to speak on topics like: “From This Life to Eternal Life (Psalms 23)”, “Cry in the Night, Joy in the Morning (Resurrection in the Morning vs Sufferings throughout the Life), “God is not the God of the dead”, “God of Creation, God of Resurrection, God of Salvation”, “A Better Country”, “Reunion Sequel “, “Live with a Mission, Die with a Hope”, “Come to the City of the Living God (Hebrews 12:22-25)”… The Lord asked me: If all these are true, with the Lord by your side, what’s there to be sorry for! What in this world is worth lingering? Job in v26 revealed his thought – after my physical body perished, I would see God outside the realm of my body… The second part would be ever brighter. Paul knew he was coming to the end of his journey and he was not ashamed of the sufferings because he knew who he believed and was convinced all about ‘that day’ will be ‘better by far’!

The core of their faith and hope has passed the test.  The core of the Christian faith is not about being cured or not. What we believe, what we gain, what we hope for – Abba Father, Savior, Resurrection, Heavenly Home, Eternal Life, A Better Home…None of these can be comprehended by the human mind according to the standard of the world in this life.  Let’s trust that all worldly affairs are will be with me rest of my life. Now, what am I waiting for? Oh Lord, Our hope is in thee alone!

All the good, evil, good times, bad times, dreams and love are just dots and lines, in this life’s journey.  They are not the end of the story.

These happenings form a gorgeous picture woven by the Spirit. Let us all be vessels broken and reshaped, together we are edified to form the great feat of God.

I sincerely thank God for giving you all to be my companion in this heavenly journey, for this great and solemn calling, to follow the everlasting God till today. I pray that my encounter and warfare inspire you, constantly remind you of the question to the Lord as to ‘for what am I living?’ Let us be concerned of things of heaven. Let us all rejoice and strive to live every day to its full. The world is changeful and will pass away one day. It is only obeying and doing the will of God that can last forever!

When the kids are preparing to leave home for a trip, they count the days eagerly, packing their things and waiting anxiously for the day to come. Shouldn’t Christians be like that too? With the compassion of a steward, let us do our dues and wait with eagerness the day to move into a better home and meeting the Lord face to face, partaking the great wonder in the kingdom of God.

Last be not least, if you think that I could be a benefit to the church if the Lord permits me to live. I ask that you come before the Lord without fear, raise your hands to ask the Lord for His mercy to keep me and my family and allow us the privilege to serve in His ministry.

Peace unto you! Warriors of the First Legion in the Heavenly Kingdom!

On the New Year’s Eve last year, the pledge we made to serve the Kingdom of God touched the heart of many, bringing us to serve Him in good faith and a simple heart! The same pledge, ever resounding has been keeping us forward! Broken is the fish, the bread, the jars, or families and lives, but God lets go of none and mends us in His way!

As the letter went out on the New Year’s Eve, I suffered an infection in the body, causing me unrest both physically and emotionally, as if there was some force holding me back from talking… But how can I keep quiet when I am about to take my last chemo-treatment soon, Jan 27!

There are 3 things that I want to tell you: the Why, the What to Learn, the What to Wait For?

When I made know of my illness, many were puzzled or even found it hard to accept as to why such a harsh thing dawned on me… In various occasions, I am company to those who suffer and I have learned how suffering is like and what it means. As I am reading the Book of Job again, I am enlightened with the new seeing: as we toil our days under the sun, there is one big spectacle above (Job 1-2). We need to look at what happen to us from multiple dimensions.

The Book of Job began in heaven – a battle between Satan who wanted to deprive God of His glory, harming His beloved children. The torch of war was lit in heaven. The fleet of angels and saints in heaven are watching this fiery trial in progress. It is precisely an event that breaks us up, at the same time exposing the complete failure of Satan. By way of tribulation, “filling up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions” (Colossians 1:24) How noble our ministry! When left alone in the scanning room, I asked, “Oh Lord! What use do I have to You when I am no longer capable of fighting Your war and gaining man for You?”

That very day, the Lord said, “….for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.” (I Corinthians 4:9b)

That very moment, I felt like so many eyes were staring from heaven, with full attention, shouting at how we perform… How true that we would be “companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus” (Revelations 1:9b)

It is not a sad thing at all. They are standing right on the center stage, in the limelight radiating from heaven!

Right before the storm, God called Job “My servant” two times. When the trials were over, God called “Job, My servant” four times. As Job lost everything on earth,  suffering the gravest pain in sickness, he ended up gaining double praises from God! At that point, I was drenched with the Holy Spirit! During the whole session of more than one hour, I was there giving thanks and praises to the Lord until the nurse said “Time’s up!”

Back home, I prayed to the Lord again for an assurance and He replied with His own words: “May Your will be done, one earth as it is in Heaven!” (Matthew 6:10b)

Jan 27 is the day when I will take the last session of chemo-therapy. Let’s talk about the What and the Why will later. In the meantime, try the dynamics of Job’s  supplication! (Job 42:10) It does wonders! It is full of power!

Journey of Faith (9) – A Tough Battle! A Great Spectacle!

… We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to men. (I Co 4:9b)

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ … (II Co 2:14a)

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

2011 has been a year of uncertainties, ups and downs, natural disasters, nuclear crisis, and deficits in trillions, tyrant being executed – all out of the malice of the villain, stirring the world in great chaos!

On the New Year’s Eve, the last chapter of the Revelation brings a smile on our face at “ and there shall be no more curse” because ‘that bright and morning star’  is such a joy to our life.

For the past few months, God is inspiring me in two aspects: as much as life is a tough battle, it is also a great spectacle!

While resting in sickness, I keep my father company in watching Justice BAO Qing Tian/包青天. It is all about injustice in life and man has no way out in finding justice. It is a spectacle with great tension, attracting the audience to chase after what next, seeing how vengeance is made, righteousness is fulfilled. 42 chapters in the Book of Job are all about life is not fair. Large part of the Book of Revelation is about the world being oppressed under the shadow of the red dragon…

But we all have God of Justice above us, our prayer to Him is like hitting the drum to be heard, interceding for the church and fellow saints who are suffering! Let’s exercise the heavenly power on earth to bring forth peace and justice.

Do not faint in faith no matter how rough this life! The wicked will be punished and the heaven will become clear again. A greater show is yet to come. (Rev 19-20)

Last but not least, let me share with you a story in ancient history as a mutual encouragement to one another. Among the many brave warriors in the Roman Empire, The First Italian Legion was the most valiant. Under siege of enemies on four sides, they did not lose heart to retreat but stood fast in safeguarding the fortress instead.  They fought back, driving the enemies all the way to River Danube. They did not take in a remote little town lightly and persevered to protect the fellow citizens. In the harsh winter, they fought tirelessly for two years in the deep forest, went far off to fight the brutal Parthians, conquering their capital!

In 88A.D., 9 great alien legions rallied to attack the First Italian Legion. Brave as they were, they defeated them in all directions, imprinting a great reputation in history as “Army of Alexander the Great!” (Ref Ephesians 6)

On the eve of the New Year 2012, let us rally as First Legion of the Heavenly Army! Follow leadership of the Eternal King, covered by the precious blood of Jesus, the Lord Almighty, exalting name of Christ to chant triumph like roaring thunder, we shake hade of darkness, we cause the enemies to tremble in fear! Tonight, a time to celebrate victory, a time to commit to fight!

Our Beloved Brothers & Sisters,

For three months now, we experience some stormy weather – Brother Sam falling ill, taking our entire family through new lessons in God. Praise the Lord!  Tears and cares of our dear fellow saints in the Lord assure us how connected we are in Him! We take this opportunity to give an update and hopefully easing you of your worries over us!

Sam is now half way complete with his 8 sessions of chemotherapy.  While there is slight gain in weight, he suffers hair loss, feeling weak, becoming forgetful. The first week after the chemotherapy is particular tough: nausea, numbness in limbs, pain all over…..and diarrhea at times! That takes us to call on the Lord more than ever! The good part is Sam is joining his father, a newly baptized in the Lord, for morning walk, enjoying father and son fellowship and greatness of nature in His creation!

Sam has to avoid crowds due to weakness in his immune system and for that reason we are suspending our home meetings, retreat from serving in ministries, which, in turn allows him to rest more. Thanks to the grace of God who watches over us, Jennifer, Shalom, Philip, are well cared for by our helper at home. It is in our prayer that God will guard our house forever with the blood of the lamb marking the doorpost – let all fear pass over and only praises remain in the house!

We hold each and every one of you close to our heart! We feel like we are in the middle of a football match, the very competent center-forward has to leave the match due to injury, the center-back has a cramp in his leg all of a sudden…. Faint not in faith! The Lord Himself is our coach, as long as we follow His directions, all team players, at all levels of experience can collaborate and win a great game!

Acts 14:22 says “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,”. We each have to complete our Book of Acts. Let’s live our life to full beauty to materialize the legend and promises in Acts! Great is the prize to those who truly fight to live in God’s favor like (Revelations 1:9) “brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus…”.

What then is our direction on what to pray for, what to watch over in the days to come! Half way complete with the chemotherapy, sign of malignancy is not detected in the whole body scan. Victory in the name of Christ! In the next 3 months, there are 4 more chemotherapy sessions. We call on our dear fellow saints to pray that while all vicious cells that are hiding or remaining will all be eradicated, the Lord also holds Sam in His fold, keeping every useful cell and organ unhurt!

Please also remember Jennifer in your prayers! No matter at work, at home as mother, wife, daughter and sisters, Jennifer is consumed and wearied. If not for your prayer support, she would not have the strength to sustain all the hardship. Please raise your holy hands to make pleas to the Lord! God will sure listen and watch over Jennifer and our kids.

Supplication, not sympathy, is the greatest gift to those who are under trial! It is your fervent intercession that keeps us in joy despite the tough blow in the storm. It is hands like those of Moses, raised while tirelessly praying that give power to the fighters at the foot of the hill!

It is our earnest prayer that you all remain healthy and in His peace! Strive to serve God the best, strive to save souls the most! Let’s all be vigilantly ready, be grateful and diligent to serve Him when days are rosy; trust and obey in fear for God when we face adversity. When ups and downs are crisscrossing in life, let’s all leave the mark of Christ in the world so that at every corner one turns, he sees Abba Father!

The Journey of Faith (6) – 60 Guardian Warriors

Dear saints,

I am receiving my third shot of chemotherapy when writing this. In the 3 hour session, I am holding fast to the leading of the Holy Spirit. I pray that God’s will be accomplished drop by drop along the way as the drug enters my body drip by drip!

I was reading the Song of Songs when resting in sickness, the Lord grants me His words of wonder, which awe me, thrill me! I’d like to share this with you, with fear of God at heart: “Look! It is Solomon’s carriage, escorted by sixty warriors, the noblest of Israel, all of them wearing the sword, all experienced in battle, each with his sword at his side, prepared for the terrors of the night.” (Song of Songs 3:7-8)

The Song of Songs is about love, love so pure, love so true! It bears the meaning that Christ and His church are like God and man in one (refer Luke 24: 27, Eph 5:32, Rev  19:7).  Having overcome all hurdles, the lovers live happily ever after! Rejoice! The noble groom sent a grand parade to receive his beloved bride!

Christ, even greater than King Solomon is fervently in love with His bride, His church, to a point of dying for her! Anxiously was He waiting for the great day of wedding soon to come! Poetically romantic was the road to receive the bride as in the Song of Songs, the Holy Spirit made a sharp turn to speak in a military tone, introducing the royal fleet of 60 escort warriors – all solemn, audacious, selfless, competent, brave and vigilant!

The bridal parade escorted the bride early in the morning, late in the night. The journeys in the ancient time were full of perils: cold blooded bandits who robbed and kidnapped, looted and murdered. The 60 warriors were imperial top notch, cream of the cream, special recruits to assist the king.

They were valiant, heroic, strong and manly. While others were indulged in the worldly joy, they guarded vigilantly, discerning the situations, disallowing force of darkness to close in.

I reckon we are His church – His bride of glory and beauty. No matter what, where and when, simply rest in His love and protection. But we are also His faithful warriors in this end time of darkness. Let us fight with the power of prayer, let us defend and protect the bride!

While resting in sickness, I have a deep understanding of one thing: whatever that does harm to fellow saints is doing harm to His bride.

60 special warriors stood in the front, no matter how dark the night, they were there to fend the threat of fiery attacks. They carried out their duty by the power of prayer, seeing to the safety of the bride up till the wedding day. All fighters who were called for this will of glory, prayed for the goodness of the church, interceded for the weak and helpless fellow members. Fully armored, equipped with swords, they “rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church” (Colossians 1:24)

Not only did they love their fellow brothers, they demonstrated their loyalty to the Lamb of God, their love for the bride!

I am due for a whole body PET scan on Oct 26 (Tuesday), whose result will be my first report card. The Lord gives me a Bible verse which I want to share with each and every warrior who cares for me and my house: “I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity (not caring for one’s face/not caring for one’s safety/persisting and insisting) he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.” (Luke 11:8)

Journey of Faith (5) – My 4 Observations – 210911

‘Long life to you! Good health to you and your household! And good health to all that is yours! (I Samuel 25:6b)

While resting in sickness, many times do I reflect, seek the Lord’s will and examine conditions around me. In one of the prayer sessions with my wife, the Lord opened our heart to see that this is more than a dreadful sickness – this is in fact a fierce spiritual warfare we have to fight. Seeing the point, our steps become firmer than ever – and willingly we submit to hide under His wings and partake as a small soldier in His army. I see the need of sharing my 4 observations with you all and ask you to rally with me and be watchful through prayers -

1. Pray for a gospel breakthrough in my family  In the past few years, many of my family members turn to accept the Lord,crushing the 30 year old bondage of idolatry. My grandfather, over 100 years old, my father 83, wife and children of my younger brother… upon labor of the church, were baptized into the name of Christ. The power of gospel conquers all darkness. Deep down I know Satan will not rest and will continue to disturb us. I earnestly ask you to pray for me and my family!

2. Pray for my church Brother YAU, a young preacher who serves in my church was received into the Lord July this year, abruptly out of a sudden brain attack. Loss as it seemed but his departure awakened many. In August, I was diagnosed of this disease, causing worries to fellow saints. While we see the good will of God in all this, we also know Satan is watching for a chance to attack. I call on churches on all lands to unlock the chain with the key to heaven – pray for proper edification and peace of the church!

3. Pray for Ark Channel ministry Ark Channel, as a prayer net and fellowship network has been in service for 8.5 years now. Jesus Is Lord and overcomes all strange attack from behind. One member becoming ill will not put the mission to an end. This is well testified by the many letters we receive. Let’s all pray that the Lord bestows mercy on me and the Lord Himself will take full charge of this ministry.

4, Pray for the HK Bible Conference and my service there In the past 15 years, I am blessed with the opportunity to take part in the planning and administration of the conference. For 83 years, this spiritual movement works into hearts of many Chinese around the globe (150,000 +attended, 3,600 saints commit to serve full time or part time) In the past year, 3 servants are diagnosed of cancer – Pastor YP CHAN/陳耀鵬, our speaker, (now recovering from surgery), a saint who takes on the mission of translating for 9 days on podium and now myself right after the 2011 conference! Is this all co-incident? I urge you all to pray with me and the way of God and His Word! Let’s all stand to fight the malice of Satan together!

Let’s put these 4 aspects of the requests to first seek His kingdom and His righteousness. As for me and my house, we entrust it completely into the hands of God and the power of your holy prayer, vigilant and tireless in praying for His kingdom. (Eph  6)

You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. (John 14:14)

Journey of Faith (4) – 080911

My Beloved Brothers and Sisters,

I am taking this opportunity, in good and able spirit, to give a report to our Ark readers. While Sam Kong is resting, Ark Channel service continues.  It was at end of 2002 when I heard the calling of the Holy Spirit to tend to unchurched group, the many little sheep who roam at a loss, trapped in afflictions, sickness, sin, depression, loneliness…. I saw vividly the scene depicted in the Book of Luke of how our God of love goes throughout all lands to seek the lost, the beaten, the forsaken… and my heart was completely drenched with this unchanging love of God.

It was all in a flash that the architecture of Ark Channel crossed my mind. It includes naming the ministry Ark Channel, ways to distribute the message, plot of sharing the gospel and testimony, to reaching out to rally with churches.

Over the past 3102 days, up till August 2011, thousands of saints, (including members in my home gathering, sheep we reap out of the many gospel meetings and friends whom we hold close to our heart in supplications) come onboard the Ark. We are now a small team of volunteers who serve on Ark articles distribution, filing and archive, English translation and web production.  I am taking on the burden of writing the articles, providing counsels to saints who seek help. Little by little, Ark
Channel grows to provide 3 core values:

1. bring readers to meet God through His own words on a daily basis

2. bring readers to see beyond our own circumstances, edify into a prayer net and practice mutual support

3. bring churches, fellow workers into collaboration and fellowship

In our humble service, we make friends among men, we witness great wonders of God and our wish remains simple:

pray for all men to love God, care for brothers, serve the church with faith.

The Ark Channel on Aug 30, 2011 was the piece of work that I wrote myself for the last time. The following day, also the first day of my chemotherapy, Brother Patrick LI/ 秀峰 was moved by the Spirit to take on the baton of backing me up temporarily. Patrick is one of my best comrade in the Lord, my mentor in Bible study. In fact, much of my sharing here was based on his Bible notes. Through the depth in the content of his writing, we see the good will of God in sending our brother to support Ark Channel. I earnestly urge saints on all lands to pray for the entire team of Ark Channel!

At entering the 5th year of Ark Channel service, I brought this plea before the Lord – When is the time for me to pause? Since then I am patiently waiting for His command! Now seems to be the moment to hand the ministry back to the Lord! But my prayers and my love for you and all churches will not cease!

I urge all to continue to send us church news, prayer requests, testimonies, experience in the Lord! I will do my best to ‘leisurely’ support in choosing the materials for sharing on Ark Channel.

I’d like to quote Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” to speak the voice of my heart at this very moment!

Journey of Faith (3) – Meeting the Challenge of the Giant! – 060911

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Thank you all for your letters, which I may not be able to respond to one by one.

In the early morning last Saturday, the Lord woke me with a clear mental picture of David fighting Goliath. As I read I Samuel 17 in detail, I notice some of the scientific data known about the battle: The giant was 3 meters tall, he wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing 57kg, his spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed 7kg… On the other hand, David fought without wearing an armor and all he had were just five smooth stones and a sling in his hand.

The enemy was merciless, cursed with wicked words even before raising his arms to fight (v43-44). He seemed to be threatening the young boy but was in fact cursing God, the great commander who led the Israelite army. David did not tolerate the physical assault, nor did he put up with the curse in words. Before any physical fight, he made his greatest effort to attack the enemy – solemnly rebuking and declaring how the enemies would perish. What’s thought provoking is in the wonder of how a tennis-size stone struck and sank into Goliath’s forehead, causing him to fall facedown on the ground. The reason is simple: for the battle is the Lord’s and He will give all of the enemies into our hands.

My beloved brothers and sisters, we all have our giant in life! Let us pray in oneness as a church to expel the fears, beat the dark forces. In the name of the Lord, loose the stones with the key of heaven and cast out the vicious enemies.

Please pray for me! May the Lord grant me that piece of stone to beat the giant with!

Journey of Faith (2)   –  020911

Jesus is Lord! He is the only one worthy of our admiration and praises! Thank you for the ever-flowing words of care and comfort. Thanks to your fervent prayers, God of mercy listens and takes charge in sending a good doctor, the therapy procedure has run smoothly. The first shot of chemotherapy is done, the name of the Lord exalted!
Many fellow brothers describe my ministry as ‘alternative and unconventional’ and so is this sickness which is quite rare of its kind.


Healing of this lymphatic complication would not be easy! Let’s all come before the Lord for His mighty work of wonders! Let’s  all come before Him and count on His mercy! Good news to share is the bone marrow is not infected! Let’s all look up to God as the only Savior!

I was not able to sleep the night I was told the confirmed diagnosis. Satan made me waver in my faith… “Is God whom you trust the true one? Is this God that you preached to many by hundreds each year real?  Where are your fellow brothers, your comrades and church?…”

It’s hard to bear in telling my beloved fellow saints of my illness! It’s even harder to add sorrows to the church that I love! Other than my dear wife, I dare not, nor do I know how to break the news to you and my family.  I struggled on my own how to fight the attack of Satan, amidst fear, I prayed and heard the reminder of the Holy Spirit. According to the exclusive report of Luke:

My gracious Savior, one who possesses the greatest might in all heaven and earth, at His most agonizing moments in the garden of Gethsemane, an angel from heaven appeared to Him and strengthened Him. (Luke 22:43). Oh Lord! Comfort my heart! Send an angel to add strength to me! (Praise the Lord! Here he comes!)

In the 6 months that follow, taking rest is my way of serving!

In our many prayers with Wai Kwan, my wife, we have the same feeling – me and my home are with fellow saints in alliance, for life or for death and there is still work to be done. I urge my fellow saints to exercise the power of the church to bind the
enemies!

My Beloved Brothers and Sisters, Peace unto us all!

The Ark Channel has been a humble service for 8.5 years during which we have shared joy and sadness, interceded daily for peace, kept watch for the church, and matured by way of studying God’s words.  May the Lord continue to remember us.

The Bible does tell us that it is through experiencing hardship that we enter the kingdom of God. A disciple is not be above his master, Gethsemane is a mandatory stop — our Lord is there.

Not long ago, I am diagnosed with Lymphoma, tumour in lymphatic cells, and will start chemotherapy on 8/31 (Wed) for 6 months. May the Lord have mercy on His servant.  And I ask for your prayer support!

1. We were all bought at a price; therefore let me glorify God in my body.

2. Let all treatment fall in the mighty hands of our Father take but not that of men.

3. His Grace is sufficient for me to sustain and be fully healed.
