The patriarchs, whom the world was not worthy, wanted to share with us something better that God has provided!

* A doctor once said that men are less likely to seek treatment for their illnesses, while women are smarter to seek early treatment for minor illnesses. The average life expectancy of a married man is 17 years longer than that of a single man, probably due to the influence of his wife. Before God, repent; before your spouse, listen to her advice!

* Computer specialist brother Siu Man/少民 had a misconception about Christ and criticised. One time, entrusted by the mother of a classmate, he was to win over the Christians classmates! He prepared many arguments, pretended to be friendly to the church, attended meetings, prepared to make a difference…As the meeting started, a little girl came on stage to lead the hymn singing, Siu Man sang along. For some unknown reason, tears started to flow with the singing and he felt this real God! From then on, he followed the Lord all his life.

** Dorcas/吳賴多加, the wife of the late Elder WU Yung /吳勇長老 visited and spread God’s word to prison inmates. With her encouragement and admonition, hearts were softened. In a certain year, Elder Wu asked her to retire from the visit, fearing that it would be too tiring for her. In her following visit, the inmates asked whether she would come again. She pondered. They missed her in tears. Eventually she prayed and continued her visits. By the Lord’s love, she spent a total of 28 years in the prison ministry, serving and visiting inmates.

Brother Siu Man/少民, IT Manager, exhorts his children to make good use of their time. He recalls his childhood buddy who died suddenly from sepsis. In the farewell ceremony, he burst into tears. They were both under 45 years of age, thinking they’d have a long future ahead. Life is short and unpredictable, love God and love your neighbours!
