1. Charitable action — The elderly, the young, the pastor, the servant – all must do what is good. (v2-10)
2. Motivation — To show God’s mercy: live life faithfully, waiting for Christ’s return. (v11-13)

* Dear Saints, Jesus is Lord! After three chemotherapy rounds, the PET scan report was positive, and there is no detectable trace of cancer cells (but this does not mean it is 100% gone). Today, the doctor said that no further radiotherapy was needed, but 5 rounds of chemotherapy are still needed. (During my PET scan, as I was lying alone, the Lord did a life scan for me, where He reminded me: from when I was young till now, over my few decades of life, through trials and tribulations, through mercy and grace, can I not be joyful?)
This Thursday will be my fourth chemotherapy, may there be prayers of the righteous believers!

Jeremiah 26-29: In times of trial, we must face up to reality, and continue to pray for “shalom” in whatever our condition. (shalom = prosperity, peace)。
