The Six Fears In Paul (v3-21):
* God’s faithful servant is not afraid of adversity, reduction in members, insufficient offering, work not yielding…What he fears is the church losing her purity, being exalted (hence a thorn is given so he lives by grace). He is afraid of being distant from the church, strife, jealousy, tempers, slanders…inviting the enemy’s attack. He is even more afraid there may be sin in God’s household, which makes him worried!
