Do Not Lose Heart!
1. The apostle described a faithful servant will face setbacks in ministry, difficulty is inevitable and overtime brings exhaustion
2. But Jesus has an indelible relationship with God in His heart! Daily suffering brings daily spiritual renewal.
* Here in Maine, I have been preaching the gospel to fishermen. For the past months, I have been counselling a young man Daniel whose life is in disorder but willing to hear about the Lord’s salvation. Recently he had an epiphany and said he would be saved on Friday! Afraid of being ridiculed by friends for listening about Jesus, he was unwilling to go with me for Bible study at McDonald’s. Instead he invited me to a lovely, tranquil place for Bible study, his family’s private cemetery! ~ James (to be continued tomorrow)
